...you do not fight for Freedom, it seems that the Turkish Cypriots were happy to be subjects of England, yet they were certainly against their subjugation by Greece. Now as Cypriots we remain impotent because the interlocutors have successfully turned the debate into an ethnic divide, you may ask yourself, is this right? You vp, you must choose, and in fighting for the Cypriot cause, fighting for Humanity; "Turk", Turk, "Greek",Greek: maybe, but Cypriots united as Human Beings.
...as Constituencies, as Persons, Citizens want Liberty. Freedom remains denied a voice, and as Individuals we suffer because this eludes our thoughts; no vp i am not happy with the way things are now. i think the ugly thing on the mountain cannot be torn down, but at least in its pompous display it should include a Cypriot Flag, and the Flag of the Greek Constituency joined to it. i would not be happy then, with the mountainside destroyed for ego, but at least, with such a scar, i would be at Peace with the self representation it represents, by the National Identity I choose and as a Sovereign elector, where there exists without distinction or discrimination bodies of people who identify themselves as a People, proud stewards, with their care of an island rich in its beauty, with a Heritance that has many living relics which are rare, precious, and very old.
...so if you are a black operator for my side of the debate, i thank you, and i must say you are wily like a sparrow when it comes to the "Turkish" view. i too believe that their plaint will go too far, and in reaction those that were silent amongst them will move to change the Agenda; Cyprus is not Property, it is not "Greek" or "Turkish", its People exist Independently. and as its People, they choose to Bicommunally represent many National Constituencies as well.
