A 6-month term during which the CY presidency team will be working alongside the team of the Council President Mr Herman Van Rumpuy...

... who is a frequent visitor to CY. Indeed, Mr Van Rampuy was in CY only this past week.

... and he is a classical Greek-speaker !!! ... oh and he has a reputation for not being terribly enthused about Turkish membership of the EU.. we might call him a greek-speaking Turkosceptic...
