If Turkish Cypriots really feel so well and so safe under the present situation in the North then, can you please explain to me these:

1. Why are they asking Turkey so very politely to get the f* out?

PS. Nobody said you should abandon your current faith and nobody claims that you are not entitled to determine yourselves as Turks or whatever else you like. What I was trying to prove above is that, like it or not, most of us (Greek Cypriots and indigenous Turkish Cypriots) are....distant cousins (or, at least Koumabroi).

If you take away their benefits its human nature to shout, happens all over the world.

HDY suggest that the CYs suffering under the Isolations imposed by the Turkish Occupation Regime are on benefits. Exactly the same kind of claim that we would expect from your friend Erdogan.

If the increasing by the day Embargoes and Controls imposed by TMT/Volkan/Illegal Regime were lifted, they might have a chance of progress.

I only ask one question, if it is Turkey that invaded and it is Turkey that keeps her troops in Cyprus then why is it that it is the Turkish Cypriots that are facing Embargoes and not Turkey?

You wanted to wipe out the Turkish Cypriots from Cyprus in 1960 and yet you may well achieve that in the near future. Good luck to you with your dealings with the Turks. I hope they become better neighbours to you than the Turkish Cypriots.

Because Turkey imported Turks from the mainland to occupy ethnically cleansed property and big Turkish business interests are exploiting ethnically cleansed property too.

If the embargoes are lifted, it's unlikely the TCs would actually gain anything out of it, but Turks and Turkish business interests would big time.

The UN acknowledges this and co-operates with the RoC in the application of these embargoes.

You're telling us this is all for our benefit? In their infinite wisdom they have decided the best way to help TC's is to impose embargo's on them. Thats genius, why didn't we see this all this rime? How silly of us?

We believe that you segrated yourselves from the rest of the Cypriot Community by inviting Turkey to invade your own Country, kill, pillage and destroy people and property. You have then at the Turkish gun enclaved yourselves by stealing property that does not belong to you, you have under the Turkish gun excluded and continue to violate the human rights of your compatriots, whom you don't recognise and for this reason the RoC and its citizens have exercised the rights they can and that is to approach the International Community and the body that is responsible for maintaining human rights the UN to impose embargoes on this action of defiance and violation of human rights.

Whether the embargoes help you or not is irrelevant in terms of the RoC and its cause fro freedom of its people.

Lordo, you forget that the EU does impose sanctions on her ascession. Furthermore it is the UN which identifies the occupation by Turkey as illegal. Even the IPC "works" because Turkey admits guilt as the damaging party to the EU. If it is the Cypriots imposing the embargo exclusively with such success, and on their own people, it does seem absurd, except for the fact that the rest of the world recognises that Turkish Cypriots are not so easily qualified under their sole benefactor's attempts at changing the toponomy, and the demographics, nor are they the Kiprislis a people who are entirely without voices, Afrika comes to mind...

...frankly, should Erdogan go too far, it is not hard to imagine Turks fighting "Turks", and in that regard Cypriots may rally to demonstrate their Unity.

...a Turkish Cypriot is like a Greek Cypriot, they are both unheard, and if heard denied, if not so easily dismissed, by other "Turks", and "Greeks", so unforgiving. thus, the few of us in this crowd unlike the adversaries as we have been framed, cannot stop in our resistance for a better way of thinking. we are passed the Age where these issues were made clearer, i say you are a Man (and to Women my apologies for want of a better word).
