Talat commented on the words of Greek Cypriot Foreign Minister Markulli as ‘we moved backwards always’ and said that the Greek Cypriot side has been acting like this all the time and thus they think that other people are stupid. Talat reminded that the Greek Cypriot side was saying that there were no developments even in the days when there were some developments.

Talat indicated that the Greek Cypriot side has put a strong willpower by electing Christofias however Christofias has become the slave of Papadopoulos in a very short time.

Talat said asked Christofias what kind of a solution he demanded by rejecting a calendar and mediator and said: “you didn’t solve with Talat, you didn’t solve with Eroglu, with whom are you going to solve?”

Talat said that if AKEL said yes to the Annan Plan there would not be a Cyprus problem today and reminded that DISI said yes.

Adding that the Greek Cypriots had no motivation for a solution after they became an EU member Talat said : “the solution has no meaning for them and even a solution has become concession for them”

OZERSAY: ‘FATE OF CYPRIOT PROCESS DOES NOT DEPEND ON UNILATERAL WILLPOWER’
Special Representative of the TRNC President, Kudret Ozersay has gone to New York to realize intensive contacts before UN decision which is expected to be taken within this week. Ozersay is making contacts with the ambassadors of permanent member countries of UN Security Council.
In his statement regarding his contacts, Ozersay said ‘the name of this process is Cypriot process so a common willpower is needed in order to decide which methods to be applied during this process’.
‘If Greek Cypriot side does not accept a multilateral meeting, we as the Turkish Cypriot side will not accept to continue the negotiation process. In this case, we should try to find a new willpower regarding the process. I think that it will be clear when the UN Secretary General make an invitation to both leaders whether there is a willpower harmony or not’.

I think Europe and the UN have realised the TC demands are unreasonable and based on racist bigotted attitudes that is the reason Cyprus was inducted into the EU as a whole island nation with the clause that it has control only over the free areas and that aid and other EU business are to be conducted in the free areas only. The UN and the international community have not recognised the "trnc" and UK being the staunchest of supporters have resisted the push for recognition and flights and trade with the occupied area.

I am happy to wait for freedom rather than give in to racist based demands by a racist population of 55,000
