Awful. Sounds just like the British Islands (Vikings, Romans, Saxons,). But the indigenous Celts survived, haven't they?

They are preparing to enjoy the proceeds from the wealth of Cyprus which EOKA leader Tassos Papadopoulos offered us on the platter, saving it from the Grand Theft which you were planing (I mean your Annan Plan). Additionally, they are preparing to take over the EU presidency which EOKA man Tassos Papadopoulos also offered us on the platter.

You see, the victorious war of EOKA against the Empire is still producing plentiful fruits. With some delay but... what the hell, political gains take time and stamina. On the other hand, just look at the misery and the isolation of the TCs whom you used as your allies to fight EOKA and feel the shame of what you brought upon them (namely TURKEY).

So everyone is happy and will continue to fight their corner.

Your 'corner' is thousands of miles away in Asia. Go on - go there and fight to get it back!

Not much of a fight needed to get back in if what happened when the Turks strolled in back in 74 is anything to go by.

They were noticable by their abscence in 74 when the Turkish teenage conscripts walked in whilst the Greeks EOKA superheros ran (away).
