I would say that "scum of EOKA" is an accurate way to describe Nicos Sampson, no doubt there were others but many brave honourable men fought for independence too. And of course the other side of the coin - the scum of the colonialists who hanged 18 year old youths for transporting weapons and ammunition.

Sad thing about the whole EOKA campaign is that had they waited a few more years the de-colonisation laws of the UN (Resolution 1514 December 14th 1960) would have granted Cyprus democratic independence and disregarded the demands of Turkey and the UK.

Well said Jerry, just one correction. Union of Cyprus with Greece was the objective of EOKA, not independence.

One of those who were burning their opponents alive? Or torturing prisoners to death I suppose?

......who fought against terrorists,

Is that how English dictionaries describe freedom fighters?

.....murdererers and killers such as the back shooting Scum of EOKA.

Yeah. Just like Afxendiou, Kyriakos Matsis, the Liopetri fighters, Markos Drakos etc, etc, who managed (all 200 of them) to pin down in Cyprus 40.000 British troops for four years.

Sampson, was no ones hero, he was a UK implant, it was part of the strategy to break us up. But some idiots have taken this and turned it into propoganda. I am surprised you have swallowed this as well, but then again......

Long live EOKA, long live freedom for Cyprus.

Support the undergod, you are a colonialist remnant, and Britain was a terrorist for 70 years on our island. Britain sowed the seeds of hatred on Cyprus, and during a losing battle vs EOKA, in a desperate attempt to maintain sovereignty over Cyprus, the British did everything in their power to make sure that Cyprus could not have a bright future as a non-Empire entity. Britain was the true terrorist nation who raped Cyprus of her freedom and barbarically murdered children, sent teenagers to the gallows and slaughtered men and women who wanted FREEDOM OF THEIR LAND, labelling them TERRORISTS all the while.

Fuck the Queen
Fuck the UK
Long live EOKA
Long live freedom for Cyprus

The thousands that attend Sampson's yearly memorial service (and the memorial service of Yiorgadjis by the way) are also British implants, I presume. No B25, they are your kind, your next to kin, fascists to the bone, the scourge of this island.

And I am happy to be one of these thousands that you speak of, turkish mouth pieces like you are in the few thank god (I guess you are a non believer too) and we shall prevail. We do not accept to hand over this country to colonialists wankers and turkish shit as easily as you would like us to. It is you and your kind that are the cancer of this country, we just need a cure.
