Hi. Haven't been on here for ages. Still making regular trips to the Island but have yet to make any friends here. Always come over with my 8 year old son so not really looking for anyone to go out with in the evenings but would be great to find other women with boys of similar age who would welcome another female into their group of friends.

I'm planning on moving here full time in 3 years with my husband and son but until then only make the trip out during the English school holidays. Gets pretty lonely here for both of us when my husband isn't around and I'd really love to make some friends finally (been travelling here for 20 years now and the only friends I've made are my gardener and pool man!!! not good!)

I'm hoping there are other women living here who would welcome another friend. Sadly, I only speak English but so long as you can speak English as well then I don't care what your nationality is! I've got older kids (16 and 21) so I'm no spring chicken just a lonely Mum who would love to have some friends to look forward to meeting up with each trip I come over.

Fingers crossed I get some genuine replies!!
