Larger venues for big international gigs?

Iced Earth did Nicosia last year, at Pavillion, 3000 people jammed into a tiny facility that clearly needed but couldn't accommodate more people.
Although the venue is great, its too small for big bands.

It all depends how many tickets can be sold and how much people are willing to pay to see what's on show. Could an agreement be made with the owners of the GSP, Tsirion, Neo GSZ, Pafiako stadia if they could get someone interested and could anyone big enough be persuaded to play them? Would Ivi Adamou get 30,000 in the Tsirion?

a few years back Sting Played at the Tsirio stadium- plenty of room for more than 3000 there.

Chris de Burgh played in the old GSP stadium in Nicosia, I took the wife to hear him. When she discovered that we were listening to him from the garden of the pub across the road she cut off my privileges!!!!!

I thought it was funny.
