OIC pledges support for Turkish Cypriots

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

OIC pledges support for Turkish Cypriots

Postby halil » Mon Apr 09, 2012 8:41 pm

The 57-member Organization of Islamic Cooperation has welcomed a request by the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to open its permanent representative office at the OIC.

The OIC chief said his organization would give priority to ending the illegitimate isolation imposed on the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and pledged OIC’s solidarity with the republic at political, economic, social and cultural levels.

However, he urged both Turkish and Greek Cypriots not to miss the opportunity for negotiations under the auspices of the United Nations in order to set up a federal system and hoped the talks would lead to a just and lasting political solution to the issue.

Of course it will pledge support - in its eyes, they are the victim and the Greek Cypriots are the aggressors. What did you think was going to happen? The OIC would turn around and state they think the TC's have been a bit naughty and can't condone what they've done? No matter how a rat acts another rat will always tolerate it.

Your 'excitement' will end when the OIC realises 'trnc' recognition is against every UN Resolution since 1974.

...who is they?

oh yea i get it; Turkey, and the statlet in a Muslim "EU", this the "Turkish" mind, just like Cyprus and Greece. (two Greek votes, two Turkish votes)

...still, it is dialog the OIC opens, and Truly, if it is based on the Universal Principals of believing in God, we can hope that this extension one day for Turkish Cypriots, in a Unified Cyprus, will add to its abilities as a social-economy that facilitates exchange.
