you keep forgetting the federal governmnet which will control the ports for both states and collect and disburse taxes among other things
We havent gotten to that point yet, do you accept that both states rule their own affairs and by no hook or crook can that right be taken away??? or manipulated to the benefit of either side??
Ive lived in a federated country since your Turk brothers made me a refugee, i travel throughout the lower 48 states here in the usa, each state has its laws and regulations...for instance differrent taxes, ie sales taxes, fuel taxes.... abortion rights, death penalty laws, criminal laws and punishments....in california, with a doctors prescription someone can buy marijuana from a pharmacy, nevada has casinos,in utah one cannot buy alcohol on sundays....the differences are vast, but when it comes to regulating interstate commerce the federal govt can only do that. Each state has its constitution, and supreme court, ports/ airports and international commerce/ treaties are the federal governments job....the Fed government imposes an income tax on all its citizens, in all states, social security at retirement is disbursed by the federal government. to get more specific i would have to reread the american constitution......what of these duties of each govt dont you agree with and why?
In order for these institution in all the different govts, to function there has to be astrong judiciary branch of government, the rule and interpretation of the law has to be followed.....I dont know if that exists in Cyprus, by the Gc or the Tc, or if both people's understand the significance
