Costs of holidaying in protaras

Hi all,

I'm visiting Protaras in july this year and would like some info on the price of things. The last time i was there they were just going through the transition to the euro and prices went a bit loopy. Any info would be much appreciated on things like eating out, beer prices etc..... i'm very much looking forward to visiting again :D

Welcome to CF.

Been 20 months since visiting in the Summer. Find there's so much competition in popular visitor places like Protaras and the nearby Agia Napa that the prices are very reasonable, perhaps the best in the Free Parts of the Island. Lots of happy hour type promotions in the bars, all day breakfasts, good value fast food of the usual international brands. As ever look on the menus which by law have to be displayed outside.
