This post is to inform the community of this blog for the bad behavior and oral abuse of TRAVEL EXPRESS taxi drivers on people.

They are blaming people of being late while it is their fault (this happend to me) and i was orally abused from the driver.
and a second incident happened today with my mother in law which was abused orally from the the taxi driver who blamed her of staying in an area where there was "work in progress" in the roads and that's why he was late to pick her up for her travel to the airport. At the end of the travel after they went through all Larnaca city before ending to the airport, he didn't have any change to give her. he accused and orally abused her that it was her fault of not having change to give him and at the end she ended up paying 1 EURO extra because this guy didn't have change. In the TAXI there was another guy who had the same problem (he ended up giving 2 EURO extra fare).

please spread the word for this guys. They are very offensive bad manered and this is bad for Cyprus tourism.

I agree with you...

but this does not prevent me of expressing my anger and want to share it with other people who might have experienced the same things. Is there any other mean of expressing this situation..???

A friend of mine also had some problems with travel express some years ago. Travel Express are basically taxi drivers... not the most highly regarded people in Cyprus. If you just take a taxi once in a while then no problem. But if you take a taxi almost every day it is inevitable that on some cases such problems will happen ... don't expect too much from taxi drivers!

Sotos, thats just plain rubbish. They provide a service and it should be a good one, everytime. To abuse your clients like that is totally unacceptable. Taxi drivers are ambassadors of this country and it's is what the tourist will see first.

I don't accept such service. It's like saying just because you frequent a particular restaurant often, then they have the right to abuse you?? Come on.

It is high time Cyprus got it's Customer Service in order as it stinks starting from government offices all the way down to periptera.

Gotan, sorry you had to take such abuse, better to look for a diffrent company. If you managed to get a licence number try and make a complaint to the Cyprus Tourism Office (CTO or KOT).
Not all cypriots are such F peasants.

I was not defending them I asked my friend earlier today and it seems the same happened to her. She was waiting for Travel Express but it never came. Then she called and they insisted in a very rude way that she was late! But she was not late as she was waiting for them at the agreed spot at least 10 minutes before the agreed time. They had an argument and in the end my friend told them to fuck off and she never used their service again.
