A western reporter was also there and he asked the dignitaries if it was true that Muslims use their left hand to clean themselves after taking a poo, which the reply was, "YES, it is true".

Then the dignitaries asked the western reporter which hand he uses to clean himself after taking a poo, which the reporter replied "Oh, neither. I use toilet paper!"

Funny really. I've just come from this thread cyprus37521.html where GCs condem Eroglu's remarks about them, while confirming their own goodwill, charity and love for their TC brothers. I can see in this thread how GCs shun disparaging remarks about their TC brothers and sisters and only wish to love them and live in harmony with them.

There are GC's and GC's my friend. Don't judge the GC's as a whole from what you read here from the representatives of the sick nationalists. The same applies to the TC's. of course.

You are of course correct. I hope that you know that my message was written to show exactly that.

Observer, surely you are not expecting the GCs to be "love thy neighbourly" when the "neighbour" whats to deny them their rights to be in the same neighbourhood as them, but instead, the "neighbour" not only taking the GCs properties for themselves but also given them away to complete strangers, the settlers. I don't know about you my friend, but as a TC, I personally would feel/felt the same as the GCs do if/when I got the same treatment from the GCs. Having said all that, once a settlement is reached that is based on Democracy, Human Rights, International law and EU Principles, then I would expect all Cypriots to be civil and neighbourly to each other. Until then, you are expecting too much since Human Nature does not work that way, specially when you have Racists Fascists leaders running the north.

The point of my comment, which seems to have eluded you, is having read the chorus of complaints aimed at Eroglu for making what GCs see as racist remarks, I then read this thread where I found pretty much the same crowd making racist remarks.

It seems to me that if you want to complain about someone making racist comments, then the least you can do is not make them yourself.

And what racist remark was that you claimed that I made, Observer?

The you was an impersonal you, though there are some who might consider your 'joke' at the top of Page 2 of this thread derogatory. I just think it's not very funny.

That old joke has been around as long as I have been on this earth.

There was nothing derogatory or Racist about that joke.

First of all, for True Muslims it is a fact about how they clean themselves. Same for the westerners. I did not mention TCs in that joke, since we are hardly true Muslims, so I don't know where a TC would be even offended, even if they were lacking complete sense of humour.

I think you may have been forced to take too many "cultural sensitivity" courses in the UK!
