This argument is very weak and boring to us, you forget we are Turkish in origin and have no problem with returning to our roots just as you didnt when you demanded enosis so this motherland take you over crap doesnt wash with the majority of us, we prefer the Turks over the GCs as what you offer over time is an open door allowing you to manipulate the situation forcing us from an equal partner into minority status in a GC state.

...and why are you compelled to imagine no possibilitiy of Greeks living as a Minority amongst you, and that this is a great possibility to demonstrate there can be more of the same if there are equal Rights for Turks who choose to reside where they are a Minority; isn't that part of being Bicommunal? aren't these Acts Cypriot, rather than the "Greek" and "Turkish" representations we seem stuck with today?

...big stuff will happen, i'm still hoping they are able to bring something that is not more of the same; Flags i tell you, this summer in Cyprus.

The AP may have been rejected but it is the only Federal solution that TCs have said yes to and anything below this would fall short.

Now you did not waste time in taking away our veto rights therefore our right to partnership pushing us into the direction of a destined to be minority in eventually a GC state.

We would never give up our veto rights so thats a dead duck from say 1, you probably want to remove the guarantees as well.

Give an idiot a piece of rope and he/she will end up hanging himself/herself, which is what Turk VP 3.0 version has done....again!

Turk VP 3.0 version, if I were you, I wouldn't brag about the "TCs" (settlers mainly) ONLY saying YES to the AP, because that would ONLY state that the TCs are ONLY able to say YES to a plan that was Racist, Fascistic, non Democratic, non Human Rights, non International Law, non EU Principles, but just Turkey's puppet and a disguised partitioning of the island with Turkey controlling the whole island.

The day Denktash agreed to a BBF in the late 70's (with regrets, I'm sure), is when the TCs lost out, by default, on the privileges given to them in the 1959 agreements such as veto rights, partnership and more. The GCs are under no obligation what so ever to grants these anti democratic privileges to the TCs ever again in any future settlement. The rejection of the AP by the GCs should have given you the clue that there will only be a settlement based on EU principles, even if it takes another 100 years to reach such a settlement. That's when Turkey perhaps will be ready to join the EU!

still, very optimistic.

if the past is anything to go by, Erdogan will drive Turkey deeper into the hole, a "tarnished" reputation Internationally, and more of their autocratic decrees on Cyprus.

...however, each chance holds the potential for a radical change in thinking; i will hope therefore that things have gone too far, this summer. and Cypriots will identify themselves to their Land and as Individuals, a Unitary State, against their subjugation, choosing as these People to be Bicommunal and Bizonal, having a second level of Government so that as Constituencies they will be free to identify themselves as Persons as well.

Its fine stay isolated, keep the 36%land and just die as a community because at the end your worthless to cyprus

Thank you for proving why there will never be a solution, your continued denial of our partnership status will continue to create a barrier in from of unification. You have to think outside of the box which you nor the majority of GCs are able to do, the capacity is just not there. We ask for security you deny it, we want to have a level playing field you deny it, we want to guarantee no shenanigans yet again you say no...all this resistance tell us one thing your intentions are questionable and at best we would in a very short time end up as a diminish minority not amongst our own but those who still think they are Greek.

Vp you are the last one on this forum who should be speaking of thinking outside the 'box"...Your ideas and rhetoric are outdated. The imperialist Brits, put into your head and most other "Tc' the thought that if a cypriot who thinks of himself/herself as being Greek/Hellenic, that they should be automatically branded as Eoka B, murderers, Nick Sampson fanatics, and coupists....you are wrong, to the outmost degree. The Brits injected these ideas, in the mid to late 50's, starting with the book "Bitter Lemons", which tried to erase the legitimacy of Eoka and the cypriots assertion that they are Greek. It didnt work against the Greek cyps, but the Tc took it to heart and still echos with your words.
