What does 'Enosis' mean to you, today?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Modern Greeks have all but destroyed Hellenism.

Which Hellenism do you mourn for, Cap?

Are you one of those "modern Greeks" who trolls the Internet to spread venom against Greece and help its demise? To distance "modern Greeks" from Hellenism and claim the whole lot moribund? To take away the history and heritage of Greeks and turn them into dust? Are you part of the problem?

Hellenism NEVER dies. You must not be familiar with the immortal words of Yiannis Ritsos, one of Modern Greece's finest poets:

Τη ρωμιοσύνη μην την κλαις
εκεί που πάει να σκύψει
με το σουγιά στο κόκκαλο
με το λουρί στο σβέρκο

Νάτη πετιέται απο ξαρχής
κι αντριεύει και θεριεύει
και καμακώνει το θεριό
με το καμάκι του ήλιου

Nah, I think they're doing a super job all on their own.
And they're taking Cyprus down with them.

Greeks of the Diaspora are the last of the true Hellenes, and to that I raise my Scotch on the rocks.
God bless you all. (apart from the rats in Greece)
Happy Easter.

Happy Easter.

God bless the rats of Greece too. The rats of Greece are very few, I find most in Greece to be very nice and friendly people. The islands in particular, have some of the nicest people I have met. In Rhodes and Crete in particular, they treat Cypriots with such respect; we are their brothers.

Does this include the Cypriot "Greek" Bishops (Ethnarchy) who have always been the most vociferous promoters of enosis with Greece?
