There are also some Cypriot "Greeks" that want to deny that our colonial past had any influence on who we are today.
There are also some Cypriot "Greeks" that refuse to accept that the Church of Cyprus is completely separate from the Church of Greece, other than being in communion with each other through the wider Orthodox Catholic Church.
