The Turkish State again showed its intolerance by using tear-gas and water canons against Kurdish revellers celebrating the Kurdish New Year (Nowruz) and seeing in the Spring, in the town of Batman, Kurdistan on Tuesday.
Naturally those being attacked in these ways defended themselves with petrol-bombs and stones.

Nasty!
- Looks to me like they were using their vehicles to ram into people. Deliberately driving fast towards/at people. At least they didn't batter kids over the head with guns or break their arms slowly and methodically, this time ...

I hope the EU are on to this to see how the Turks treat indigeonous ethnic minority peoples - there is no place in the EU for a country that treats it its citizens like this.
