...clearly, there are (at least) three parts to these conditions, and, without the BBF there is no reason for Cyprus to be anything else but a Unitary State, it does not mean simply tearing the island in two to accomodate the Illegal Occupier. I would hope that if Mr. Downer and Mr. Ki-Moon would ask the Greeks, where is their Constituent State, since there is a Republic and a Turkish Cypriot Constituent State; this is a tough question. and to the Turkish State i would ask, where is the more that they are asked for, now that the Greeks would represent themselves as Greeks equals to Turks (and Maronites, etc.) within a State that defends the Rights of all its Citizens without discrimination.

repulse the matter boils down to trust...we do not trust GCs and you do no trust TCs.......if all GCs were like Bananiot I would have no problem living in a unitary state with no borders and no guarantees but unfortunately the majority are like Piratis Greekgirl and Sotos to name just the tip of the iceberg which need to be forced into accepting an agreement that would force them to do the right thing one that would leave no loop holes for them to exploit for the determent of TCs as they have shown over and over again they are not to be trusted.

What makes you so different from GCs like Piratis greekgirl +++++++ you can trust who you wish but cannot force me to do the same.

The truth does hurt sometimes repulse but I personally would trust a Turk a thousand time more than an average GC, especially the ones on this forum.
