Concerns raised over Peyia antennas

Postby Ron Doran » Mon Mar 12, 2012 9:53 pm

It appears that it is Scientists V Joe Public on this issue. I'm skeptical about it.
Could it be Business/Scientist V Joe Public?

I just wonder how many of those who are complaining about the Antennas have mobile phones or other equipment that relies upon radio waves.

The last time there was a demo here against the erection of a mobile phone antenna, the TV news coverage showed half the people there talking on their mobiles!

So what, that doesn't mean they souldn't be able to use them safely. We all use electricity, but how many want to live under the HV transmission cables??

From the arguements being had in some places, they say there has been no established link between RF emmissions and Cancer, I say, prove to me any others that it is safe and not that you cannot find a link, because to me that would suggest there could still be one.

I once saw a documentary (mind you it was eons ago), HV transimission cables generating RF that caused cancer clusters (whatever that may be) in humans. And the study was because in the US there were kindergartens placed directly underneath these cables and there was a high percentage of people that had developed carcinogen issues.

Anyway, the power companies like, phone companies, like tabacco companies, 'studies' showed no link ha ha F ha.

Anyway, I use a phone, but I don't want an x MW transmission antennae stuck anywhere near me, thanks.

If it is on your own roof it is as bad as if it is on the roof of your neighbors. If you notice how the antennas are positioned they fire mostly sideways and not so much downwards.
