Hi everyone. Quick question. Ive just had a dreambox installed upstairs, but my wireless modem is downstairs. To get connection, I have to use a 15 meter ethernet cable, which looks untidy running from downstairs to up, plus could trip up on it. Ive heard theres a wireless plug you insert on the modem and one on the dreambox,( or something along that line) which picks up signals and is much better than my option. Anyone knows what Im talking about?! If so, and you have the same set up, how much roughly and where from in Cyprus, pref Paphos.

You need a Remote extender and the only one that works PERFECT in Cyprus through walls, concrete, and everything is the one sold (at least by Stefanides) OFFEL and looks like this…

Oh, and I think it’s about € 40-50.

It’s ugly and doesn’t look cool but... DO NOT be fooled into buying a cooler looking and/or cheaper one!

Hang on a tick.... correction! What you need is a WIRELESS extender (the other is for TVs) and there are MANY good ones on the market.

Devolo make IMO the best and even offer hard wire or wifi extentions..
