Are you saying that the Greeks abandoned these myths after socrates/plato, and if they did why would they its what brought them to the point they were at. And also what you are saying is that the teachings of Jesus were copied from Socrates/plato, with a heaven / hell component tht the Greeks didnt believe in. I really dont understand how you can compare the Ancient Greeks to Christianity, when you also make a reference to the early christians burning down the library of Alexandria...isnt that act alone enough to say tht the christians werent interested in knowledge but rather in control, which the Greeks werent.
