The same goes for Cyprus you incompetent fool! It was ALWAYS inhabited by Cypriots!

And these Cypriots were the same group of people that inhabited Greece. And it wasn't called Cyprus till the Greeks coined the name.

What does "the same group" mean because ultimately humans must all stem from ONE couple!

Is that your argument? :)

Btw, Greeks did not exist when Cyprus received its name!

You are the only making up fairytales, just so that you can shoot them down again. Please see someone about that schizophrenic tendency.

What have I made up?

Unlike you, the Greeks know which are the myths and which are the facts. Most cultures respect their ancient myths even if they are not as ancient as the Greek ones. Who are you to ridicule Greeks as though they believe myths to be facts?

There are plenty of actual achievements which seem unbelievable because of their scale and importance and you are trying to muddy the waters. What you are trying to do is denigrate the achievements by mixing up facts and myths - it is a very nasty trick and you ridicule Cyprus too by doing this.

When did Cyprus receive its name? Who spoke Greek when they called it Cyprus?

- Or do you think you look clever because you can mix this up to when the words were spoken first in English?

Get real! - Please stop wasting your time with cheap tricks. All that you try to destroy about Greece, you destroy for Cyprus - because to the majority of the world, Cyprus is Greek.

For example - Here is a typical Greek Myth:

The birth and life of Aphrodite
According to the Greek mythology Cyprus is the birth place of goddess Aphrodite who is the goddess of beauty and love. Mythology says that Aphrodite emerged in a fully grown state from the sea where Cronos, son of god Uranus, had placed the severed genitals of his father. Accompanied by Eros and Pothos she went to claim her place among the assembly of the Gods. At Olympus they named her Aphrodite (born of sea-foam), Cypris (the land she first appeared). She was the goddess of beauty, joy and laughter, queen of all aspects of love, guardian of young girls and governess of the fertility of animals and plants. Her symbols included rabbits, sparrows, goats, pomegranates and apples. The legendry site of birth of Aphrodite is known as Aphrodites rock and is a large sea stack placed close to the costal cliffs near Paphos.

The issue I raised is that facts and fiction are presented to CHILDREN who still have a underdeveloped mind and are thus unable to sort the two out!

The evidence is plastered all over the Internet where you’ll find many Greek teenagers verbally attacking young Turks (and vice versa) with stupid comments like…

“If just 300 Greeks killed a million Persians why should we be afraid of you!”

…and similar childish remarks that prove a lack of separation between reality and fantasy! These are very confused teenagers who have not been assisted to develop an understanding of what is doable and what is not in real life.

You couldn’t have chosen a worse example because Aphrodite is the pinched Phoenician goddess Astarte!

Every culture starts the education of their young with stories, you blockhead! From Father Christmas etc.

Besides, the Greek myths, Aesops fables etc are retold to kids all over the world. How do you account for that? Are the English trying to raise little warrior Greeks?

- As for your complaints about the Internet filling up with rubbish - then take the log out of you own eye first! Two wrongs don't make a right, so stop adding to it!

Is Cyprus called "Astartia"? Are you an "Astartian" now?

Please learn to distinguish between the relevant and the irrelevant or one day you are going to wake up and the Turks would have renamed everything because according to GR! nothing is as it seems in Cyprus at all!
