If that is true then another reason why Anatolia belongs to us while the Turks are foreign invaders... not that we didn't know that already! And some say that the the first Settlers to Cyprus were from Anatolia ... so it would seem that even them were Greek! Of course that doesn't make the Greeks any less European because Greeks are European with a European language. If you think about it the east border of Europe is all the way to the Urals and then when you came down you now see some Turks... but we all know that the Turks are just foreigners there and that is why there is this anomaly!

It says in Wikipedia their origins were from the Georgia / Armenia region; I was asking do you Hellenes believe this to be true.

I am interested in migrations. It's not yet possible to pinpoint any one group of people to a very specific region because we are the products of migrations, flows through many regions, over time. We know the main migratory root of Europeans (of which Greeks are one group), if you want to go back hundreds of thousands of years. More recently, it seems to be a case of confirmations that Greeks traveled far and wide in their thirst for knowledge.

We have good and improving scientific tools to answer many historical questions, but it doesn't sound like this chap is interested in such data.

Close similarities between Ancient Greek and Vedic Sanskrit suggest that both Proto-Greek and Proto-Indo-Iranian were still quite similar to either late Proto-Indo-European, which would place the latter somewhere in the late 4th millennium BC.
It appears also that Greek and the Armenian language have many similarities. I understand this is similar to the Finish and Hungarian peoples

Not exactly renegade. They were Greeks from the various Byzantine provinces which had already fallen to the Ottomans and the people of which were since long sick and tired of the corrupt and oppressive Byzantine rule.
