the Kibrislis aren't going to revolt. They are scared shepherd people.

Did I miss the bit that Downer encourages the TC's to revolt? and revolt against what?

They are scared but some brave souls have ventured out to demonstrations against Eroglu's stance which is in favour of Turkey's interests with disregard for the best interest of the TCs. It will be all about the numbers, enough support and reaching a critical mass. The settlers are quick to reply and put down any dissent voiced by the TCs be it on forums, newspaper comments or at demonstrations. Downer is accused of telling them to 'shout' louder!

TCs are a minority in the 'trnc'.

I guess they are destined to be a minority, or even 'worse' to become extinct. :cry:

Well, the CYs of the Occupied Areas seem to be in a similar position to that they were in pre-2004, with Get Nowhere Two Peoples Two Countries Spokesperson for the Settlers Eroglu in charge.

The TC's revolted in 2003, big time. They came out in their thousands (almost the entire TC populace) and all that was needed was a small push from our side to throw down the dividing wall and claim our country back (for both TC and GC) but we listened to Tassos Papadopoulos who told us that it was just a communication ploy of Turkey. Christofias, who made Papadopoulos president has a lot to answer. Papadopoulos did only what he knew best. Thwart any attempt at solution that did not culminate in a pure Greek state.
