Hi everybody.
I'm planning to work in Cyprus . I have a question " My salary is 1,600 Euro/month (gross), is it enough to have a normal living in Cyprus? "

If you do not have a family then it is enough.

Thank you guys,
Yes i'm living alone. Just wondering can i have a standard of living ( accommodation, food, transport , cafe and sport sometime) with 1600 (gross) / month.
I have another question, with 1600 euro (gross) salary , how much i have left after tax , i mean net salary?

Where is this job located!!

Your net salary will be something like 1400 , if you would be living in Nicosia then defo is not enough and rent is pretty high, If you gonna be in Limassol you will have to live on a budget but by your self you can get by.. In Paphose houses are dead cheap so if the job is in Paphos you can rent a an apt for 400 a month (if not less) the only thing will cost is transportation so so what lots of other people do get a little car (cheap one) it will be a major money savor ...

Don’t ask vague questions that cannot be answered with any level of accuracy!

What you should be asking is something that makes sense like...

1. How much is the average rent for a [insert number] bedroom flat in [insert town]?

2. How much p/week does the average family of [insert number] spend for food shopping?

3. What is the price of fuel p/liter?

Etc, etc, and then you can roughly calculate your situation.
