I was walking by the crossing at Ledra street in the evening with my family and had this idea to cross over to the occupied part of the town, but had no ID or anything with me. I thought of asking the Kibrisli officer woman at the crossing whether she could let me go if i gave her my name and ID number. I am sure she could find me on the computer, after all it would be just a one hour walk and back. The woman was thinking about it, hesitating, thought of asking some superior, it was obvious she was trying to serve me as best as she could, and perhaps even take all responsibility and let me pass. Next to her there was a young settler say "new TC" woman with purely oriental looks who seemed agitated hearing all this. At the moment the Kibrisli officer woman was about to tell me "tamam"/OK the "new TC" woman jumped in furious and with full audacity told me "if you don't have passport, go home and sleep"

Good İdea .....i will try same on my next trip to south.....see what will be the reaction of the GC or Greek reaction....sorry i forgot my ID....here is the my name .............

Yes you could of have tried that IF THEY HAD KEPT YOUR RECORD ON A COMPUTER :!:
And I am sure you would be much much more successful.

Well, why are you complaining? She was right, whatever race she was. No passport no crossing. Rules are rules. Imagine if our lot let all the turks cross over on a say so.

And in any case, inta pou girefkes na pais pogi? Yia na patisis ta skata tous. Hade re pou giame.

Your posts are full of hate against the Kibrislis B25. I simply don't share your views, and what I do in my life is none of your business. And please be most respectful to others and say what you have to say in English. :P

My comments in Greeklish were for your consumption. My hatred is for the Turks and any one who supports them, aka the TCs and it becomes my business when people like you and a few others here want to cosy up and soften our hand against the otherside. Capish.

As for your pet poodle, it's not people like me that gave Cyprus to turkey, it's people like him, who now want to give it away, whilst we are trying to hold onto it.

Why don't you tell us how in practice this hate of yours will have ANY effect? How are you going to exercise it?
It;s one thing to fight for your rights and another thing to hate people collectively for the wrong actions of few.
The vast majority of Kibrislis as well as the vast majority of Kypreoi are totally innocent and can;t be blamed for today's situation.

Take Kikapu's case for example. His family broke apart in 1963 he lost some relatives, he became a refugee in England. He was held captive for God sake. Do you see him hating anybody?

The majority of TCs support the illegal occupation of Cyprus by Turkey! If you show your id or ask for their permission to go to the north you recognize the authority of the invaders... not to say that you also financially support them if you spend any money there!

The "GC reaction" should be one of complete mistrust when anyone tries to enter the free areas; because, the occupied area is full of illegal settlers, TCs who brought Turkey, murderous Turkish troops on leave, plus a host of goodness-knows-who that have NOT entered Cyprus under the rightful authority of the RoC!

The authority is with the RoC, to ask whatever i.d. it requires. It is working under the legitimate auspices of an EU sovereign country.

You, on the other hand, have set up a rank of Turks to ethnically, and in a racist manner, keep out Greeks from their homes of thousands of years. You have NO rightful authority to check or ask anything of RoC citizens!

Really? Is that your personal opinion or you have some reliable poll data to show us?
Educate us if you can :!: :!:

NB. Is there anyone who doesn't recognize the existence of an administration in the occupied? It's one thing to recognize this existence another for that to be legal.

Perhaps you would like to know that our glorious RoC even accepts "Trnc" IDs. When I heard of this I almost fainted.
Perhaps you would also like to know that a lot of settlers living within the walls of Nicosia do know and speak Greek.
HOW and WHEN have they learned it????
