Do I detect a touch of sarcasm in this post?

Cypriot TV is also crap and that's why we have so many converts to cable. In a few years time TV channels will be closed down altogether.

I genuinely believe there would be a bandwidth problem in Paphos if SKY did disappear; for us retirees TV is a big part of are life. I understand Channel 4 has already gone as has Chanel 5SD, but Chanel 5HD is still available.

Do you want me to record Eastenders for you?

Now that Sky is no more for us ex-pats, I've switched to an internet solution from a company called iportal.me. It's great, actually better than a dish as I get all the catchup stuff as well as live TV. They even offer discounts to old duffers like me. Now what shall I do with that 180cm dish?
