Very unlucky actually. His boat hit the buoy on the bend in race 7 and lost valuable time, was passed by many and ended up 23. Showed some raw talent clawing his way up to 12.

I think Cyprus has secured their very first medal at the Olympics. Regardless of Mondays final.
The boy accumulated sufficient points to secure a medal.
Can anybody verify it?
