...as a Human Being first there are Universal Principals which are worth defending united; in that regard there is no "Minority", and in Cyprus it means we are not "GC" or "TC" when represented by our State. Truly, if we want to define Bicommunal so that we recognise and respect our diversity then this must be an effort of Individuals, as well as the Communities of these Persons.
...rather than a one liner, read my manifesto thingy; comment there line by line.
...or try my letter to Ban Ki-Moon, also a read if you see Cypriot as an alternative to "Greek" and/or "Turk".
You still dont seem to get it neither side wants to be ruled by the other. we do not see each other as one nation full stop. What you should be addressing is how do we share the island and not some unreachable utopian fantasy.
...you don't get it.
i lived this, and in Canada I live this still; you remain intolerant and unwilling to share even your Humanity. who stole Cyprus from us, was it the Turks or the "Turks", was it the Greeks or the "Greeks"?
...do you think you'll live forever, you dismiss the youth, you dismiss a Universal Belief in Individual Rights, you dismiss that the possibility exists for us to sustain ourselves as Persons, as well as Individuals. yet you speak for a "we" that accepts a subjugation that leaves us impotent; whose "side" wants that?
...you choose vp, if you're talking utopian fantasy.
