Lab-grown meat is first step to artificial hamburger

Dutch scientists have used stem cells to create strips of muscle tissue with the aim of producing the first lab-grown hamburger later this year.

The aim of the research is to develop a more efficient way of producing meat than rearing animals.

You should have seen what we passed off as meat in the place.

You would have begged for an artificially produced sheftalo after one of those burgers.

I’ll bet McDonalds would be the first to embrace this meat… and soon enough we’d eat it and lick our fingers!

I see someone beat me to it… :)

Hey Guys,

don't knock it until you tried it. The scientists may even be able to create the perfect steak.

My guess is that in the futrue, we will all have machines in the home where we will be able to grow our own meat.

Our friends may even be able to send us their own machine configuration, where you can tweek the process for their favourite home-grown meats.

Yum!
