Warplanes of US-led alliance attack power plant in Aleppo

Aleppo, SANA – In blatant violation of international law, warplanes of the US-led alliance violated Syrian airspace and attacked a power plant that feeds Aleppo city, causing a blackout in the city.

A military source told SANA that warplanes of the Washington alliance violated Syrian airspace and attacked civilian infrastructure in Mare’a, Tal Sha’er, and al-Bab in Aleppo countryside on Sunday.

The source added that the warplanes attacked the biggest electric power plant that feeds Aleppo city, which resulted in cutting off power from most neighborhoods in Aleppo city.

This transgression comes only 8 days after two F-16 warplanes belonging to the alliance targeted two power plants in al-Radwaniye area east of Aleppo city, cutting off power from the area.

Oh no! What are the Russians going to do?

Looks like this is a direct attack against Assad and Putin.

There is no way the coalition would bomb the FSA so Putin must have liberated the power station thus resulting in the coalition turning his lights off!

We tremble in fear now expecting Russia to launch Cruise Missiles that will miss their target by a few hundred kms.

Turkish MP: Ankara Supplied Terrorists in Syria with Sarin Gas

TEHRAN (FNA)- A senior Turkish lawmaker disclosed that Ankara has supplied the foreign-backed militants in Syria with the deadly poisonous Sarin gas.
"The terrorist groups in Syria have received Sarin gas from Ankara," member of the Republican People's Party (CHP) Barish Arkadash said on Tuesday.

He pointed to the investigations by the UN in Syria proving that ISIL has Sarin Gas, and said, "We will also prove soon that the ISIL has received the (poisonous) gas from Turkey and we will also prove that some sections of the Turkish government and maybe some special private companies have been involved in this big crime."

Arkadash also called on Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to resign from his post as soon as it is proven that Ankara has supplied the terrorists in Syria with deadly Sarin gas.

On August 21, 2013, the terrorist groups using Sarin agent launched chemical attacks on Eastern Ghouta in Damascus countryside which resulted in death of a large number of civilians, including women and children.

Sarin, or GB, is a colorless, odorless liquid, used as a chemical weapon owing to its extreme potency as a nerve agent and it has been classified as a weapon of mass destruction.

In late 2014, American investigative journalist Seymour Hersh said Turkey was behind 2013’s Sarin gas attack carried out by foreign-backed insurgents in Syria.

In a report published in the London Review of Books, Hersh claimed Turkey staged the gas attack to provoke a US war on Syria.

According to the report, more than ten members of the Al-Nusra Front were arrested in May 2013 in Southern Turkey with “two kilograms of Sarin”. But in a news conference in Summer 2013, Turkey's ambassador to Moscow Aydin Sezgin dismissed the arrests and told reporters that the recovered “Sarin” was merely “anti-freeze", the report said.

“We knew there were some in the Turkish government,” Hersh quoted a former senior US intelligence official, who has access to current intelligence, as saying. The American official believed “they could get Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s nuts in a vice by dabbling with a Sarin attack inside Syria and forcing Obama to make good on his red line threat.”

Oh yes the Russians are certainly killing a lot of defenseless civilians, women and children.

The Rebels know what to do, and how to bunker it out, and are waiting for the Ground Offensive. What's taking you so long?

Are you giving us more time to supply more arms? Because we will gladly oblige!

Of course you do know that the USA is about to abolish embargoes against Iran? I wonder what deal was made for this? So stop piss farting around and hand Assad over!

US fighter jets in Turkey to provide cover-fire for militants: Analyst

Wed Oct 21, 2015 9:36AM

The US deployment of A-10 ground-attack planes may be intended to give the US-backed militants cover-fire, said Bennett.

The US military’s recent deployment of a dozen attack planes to an airbase in southern Turkey is intended to provide cover for terrorist groups fighting in Syria and attack Syrian government forces, a US military analyst based in California says.

The A-10 ground-attack planes may be used to attack Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s army and give the US-backed militants cover-fire, said Scott Bennett, a former US Army psychological warfare officer.

“If that is one of the moves,” Bennett said, “then Russia needs to immediately step in and guarantee protective cover-fire” to the Syrian army.

The fighter jets may also be used to protect Turkey from terrorist attacks inside the country, he told Press TV on Wednesday.

A US official said Tuesday that the Pentagon has deployed a dozen A-10 ground-attack planes to the Incirlik airbase in southern Turkey.

They have already been scheduled to help the US-led coalition fighting against Daesh (ISIL) in Iraq and Syria, the US official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told AFP.

The official claimed that the deployment had "added capability" to the coalition's fight against ISIL.

Known by soldiers on the ground as “Warthogs,” A-10 is a tactical military aircraft that has a primary role of carrying out airstrikes with greater precision than bombers.

The planes are heavily strengthened and designed to withstand direct hits from armor-piercing rounds.

The US says Russia has directed parts of its military campaign in Syria against US-backed militants fighting the Assad government.

US officials say the CIA-trained militants are now under Russian missile strikes with little prospect of rescue by their American supporters.

“Russia and Iran should present themselves as the forces of stability in Syria. They are of course interested in a stable region and not the chaos and bloodshed that the United States has been funding,” said Bennett.
