Re: Punch up in Turkish parliament (thanks LR)
...it seems that "Turkishness" is showing some weakness.

Apparently, according to them, it was in the thousands, Apparently, their drones were wrecking havoc in Syria. Apparently, they would have you beleive, that they are 'winning'.
But after it was all said and done, the result was no new land gains for them. Actually, the Syrian "exhausted and depleted" army gained parts of idlib and the terrorist opposition groups had retreated to Turkish observation posts for refuge.
Why would Erdogan be in Moscow licking Putins boots and demanding help from NATO Allies.
Why would the result of all this be a strategic defeat for Turkey while requiring help from the west....?
Before he disappeared, Kamalmaz traveled around the world helping victims of war and natural disasters in places like Indonesia following the 2004 tsunami and New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. As a psychotherapist, he worked with refugee communities using a stress management method known as HeartMath.
When the war broke out in Syria, he looked for ways to address the mental health crisis among Syrians displaced to neighboring countries. Prior to his disappearance, Kamalmaz was developing a program for elderly refugees in Lebanon.
“He’s helped so many,” Maryam said. “We’re requesting now for anybody that could help us to step forward.”

There was no immediate claim of responsibility, but Turkey blamed the attack on the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG).
Ankara accuses the YPG of being the Syrian offshoot of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which has waged an armed rebellion against Turkey since 1984. The PKK is considered a "terrorist group" by Ankara and many Western nations.
The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces Council on Wednesday accused Turkey of allowing "terrorist organisations" to regroup and launch such attacks, a reference to the armed group ISIL (ISIS).
Syrian Kurds have played a major role in fighting ISIL in Syria.
"We in the council condemn and denounce this cowardly terrorist act that targeted innocent civilians and threatens the remaining sons of Afrin to move and leave their villages and cities," the council said.
Eqiza continued, “We and our partners are supporting families in the city of al-Hassakeh and camps for displaced families with water trucking where needed, but this barely covers minimum needs if the water supply continues to be interrupted. UNICEF has repeatedly called upon all those involved not to use water and water facilities for military or political gain. But our calls continue to fall on deaf ears and children are the ones who suffer first and most.”
