Turkish PM says limited action against Syria won't be enough, calls for Kosovo-like intervention.
The Turkish Republic of Northern Syria is soon becoming a reality.
He hopes. He wishes. He will not have it. North Syria will become Kurdish and Alawite. The nightmare of Turkey.
Well, looks like there won't be any action taken in Syria by the USA anytime soon after listening to Obama's press conference earlier, so once again, Erdogan finds himself all alone to go to war with Syria if he wants to, assuming he has any convictions at all, which he does not since he is only an opportunist to claim victory after others did the heavy lifting first. Since Obama laid down the "Red Line" warning to Syria should any chemical weapons should be used, has very cleverly managed to save face today by first agreeing to launch a military strike in Syria at any time, then stating he wants the congress to approve it, which the congress will NOT approve it, therefore Obama gets off the hook.
So Ayip Erdogan, you are on your own to take all the military action you want in Syria. You do have the second largest military might in NATO, so what are you afraid off to invade Syria and kick Assad's Ass?
His only chance now is to have the Jihadists launch a new false flag operation, this time an attack against Turkey, with the hope that this will trigger a combined NATO response i.e., massive air strikes against Syrian Army positions in the north of the country, invasion of Turkish ground forces under NATO air/cruise missile support and, in coalition with the Jihadists, creation of a “safe zone” and a “free Syrian state” in the north which would necessarily be under the military and political control of Turkey (the Kosovo scenario). Anyone believes he will dare?
