As we have all heard the US is pulling out of Syria. Now, quess who wrote this way back in April this year :

"But it is still no excuse to turn our backs on an entire people of the Sunni persuasion. You have no right to judge them or believe that you are in any way superior to them. They are human beings and have a right to self determination. That is what persuades me."

You guessed right, none other than ....General wewe.!!
General, you are letting the Sunnis down, Sadat hasn't gone, Perhaps you just got the whole issue wrong. Has Aleppo fallen ...yet ?

Paphitis, in case you hadn’t noticed the thread is about SYRIA ..... not a platform for your admiration of the clown Trump.

You have been wrong in every one of your predictions about Syria since the conflct started. The US has once again failed to become the victor in a conflict they played a big hand in starting. Your Hero is trying to claim victory for defeating Daesh and promote his great failure in Syria by presenting it as a 'incredible' success. Get used to it, the US and its allies failed to attain a victory ..... once again! In short ...... THEY LOST!!!!

A victorious army leaves with flags flying and bands playing to the cheers of the people they saved ...... not sneaking out with their tails between their legs! The pictures you see in the free areas, and the praise and thanks of the people of Syria go to Assad and Putin .....

Now the US is doing it again with Ukraine! Having funded and organised a coup in KIEV in 2014 and started it ..... they are now funding more trouble in that country, right on the EU’s door step!

That’s right, they do have every right to self determination, and if the West abandons them, this is a reflection on us and a sad indictment.

But in the end, you do understand that Assad’s days are numbered don’t you?

Regime’s like this always fall. Out of necessity or their plight is as another Pariah like North Korea.

Eat your heart out Paphitis ..... YOU got your asses wopped and as you were told you would 4-5 years ago the friendly terrorist and YPG have turned to Assad when their US buddies dumped them and fled ....... and this was a prediction you ridiculed. No need to apologise, not that you ever would.

This lady had a better vision of the future in 1968 than you do .........

World war III prophecy from 1968 ...........

"I saw the time just before the coming of Jesus and the outbreak of the Third World War. I saw the events with my natural eyes. I saw the world like a kind of a globe and saw Europe, land by land. I saw Scandinavia. I saw Norway. I saw certain things that would take place just before the return of Jesus, and just before the last calamity happens, a calamity the likes of which we have never before experienced.”

..... and from the front line in Syria the latest news that you won’t know about!
Syria Sitrep - Army To Regain Northeastern Territory - Political Isolation Ends

The fallout from U.S. president Trump's decision to retreat from Syria develops as expected.

Trump had announced a rapid draw down of U.S. troops in Syria. Later he spoke of a controlled process that would allow Turkey to take over the U.S. occupied areas in northeast Syria. That plan, probably initiated by National Security Advisor John Bolton, is totally unrealistic. Such an wide ranging occupation, which would be resisted by many powerful forces, is not in Turkey's interest. Nevertheless, the Turkish president Erdogan will use the threat of a Turkish invasion to press for a dismantling of the Kurdish YPG forces which the U.S. trained and equipped.

This morning the Syrian Arab Army (red) announced that it entered Manbij, west of the Euphrates. It established itself on the contact line between the Turkish supported forces (green) and the U.S. supported Kurdish YPG (yellow). The Syrian flag was raised in Manbij city. The move comes after U.S. troops and their Kurdish proxy forces voluntarily retreated from the area. Manbij was threatened by the Turkish military and its Jihadi proxy forces. To prevent a Turkish onslaught, the local armed groups, who collaborated with the U.S. military, invited the Syrian army to take over. This pattern will repeat elsewhere.

Getting out from what exactly? We defeated Islamic State, which was the primary task,

As for Assad, he has lost big time. He has a war torn country and a country no one wants anything to do with apart from Russia and Iran. He is in a worse position than North Korea, which at least has opened up a dialogue with the West.

Syria is now below North Korea’s status. No trade and no investment for Syria. And a war with Israel till Hezbollah and Iran leave Israel completely. Oh, so we haven’t really left now have we? Mmmmm

So I guess the S300 and S400 made zero difference, since the IAF don’t really care.

He and Putin kicked your asses ..... you are just poor losers!

Aleppo is being rebuilt with Chinese and Russian help ..... later that will include rebuilding much of the rest of Syria and its infrastructure and the oil infrastructure as well! Once again YOU have been kicked out no matter how cocky an attitude YOU have to the contrary!

..... and of course the IAF used their usual cowardly tactic of launching missiles from Lebanese airspace ! No wonder they don’t want Hezbollah to get hold of G2A missiles! At least the Syrians learned from the last Israeli raid like this when they accidentally bought down the Russian EW aircraft whilst on its way to landing when the Israelis used the Russian aircraft as a shield.

Russia: Israel's 'Provocative' Syria Strike Directly Endangered Two Civilian Flights
- Haaretz Weekly podcast, Episode 9

Russia's Defense Ministry said Wednesday that the airstrike in Syria attributed to Israel "directly endangered" two civilian flights.
The ministry did not specify which flights had been threatened but said one of the flights was landing in Beirut and the other in Damascus. It added that Syrian air defences had destroyed 14 of 16 Israeli missiles launched against unspecified targets near Damascus by six Israeli F-16s on Tuesday.

A Defense Ministry spokesman said the Syrian military didn't fully engage its air defense assets to avoid accidentally hitting the passenger jets. He added that Syrian air traffic controllers redirected the Damascus-bound plane to the Russian air base in Hemeimeem.

I have some very strict rules.

The only coloured text I read is from a member known as Pyro who seems to have this habit. All other coloured texts are ignored.

Other rules which may or may not apply!

I do not converse with any of the following:

1) Fanatical Assad sympathisers and anti western stooges and traitors!
2) people who find Russian mouthpieces as legitimate and intellectual or valid sources. It’s a complete waste of time to take people like that seriously.
3) people who are anti-Semitic in this day and age.
4) anyone who revels in the despair of millions of Muslims on one side of the divide, yet support the other (Shia) side.

My advice to you, is to stay away from my posts and do not read them. My posts are not for you! They are for more rationally minded people without the anti-western agenda.

I am a proud Australian Cypriot. As such, the US is a country I also love and am very proud of too. It is a country that I and billions of people around the globe respect, because it is a bastion of freedom, free speech and human rights for all its people and for all minorities. The US is a country I know well, and admire in many ways.

We are diametrically opposed. I can’t be meeting people like you, or have a beer with you. You are an enemy. As such, your safety will be compromised in my presence. There is nothing you can say or do to convince me to betray my country or its allies. The country I grew up with, and the culture I learned which is also some quasi Aussie Americanised culture, is my culture and the culture of my Australian kids. We have fought in every single war together for the last 100 years. Where there is American blood spilled, you will also find Australian blood too. We have been through too much. And we have too much in common.

You are embargoed. Which means, you are ignored. Not worthy of my time.

Without prejudice!

2019 is when Trump's economic mess starts to take effect in the US!

So far, American citizens have been purchasing goods that were on back-order and therefore pre-tariff, but this year... everything is about to change!

Brace yourself... o’ dumbest electorate on the planet. :)
