Back in the 80s there was a Ropucha, with a similar fit/personnel, permanently stationed to the SE of Cyprus.

We referred to it as “The South Cyprus buoy” and would usually do a photo run on it, prior to landing at Akrotiri. We didn’t buzz it for ages though, just to annoy them, or use our Death Ray.

Try to keep up! That's not news, Israel has been carrying out acts of war in Syria on one pretext or another for at least two decades. Your prediction ..... isn't, it's historic fact. All were acts of war and all contrary to International Law and the UN Charter.

yes, the Western Sources only regurgitate what the Syrians are claiming.

The Israeli's just keep very quiet about everything. They do not discuss their operations or make any claims about being successful or otherwise. they just go about their business and let others do the talking.

They are actually very clever. Far too clever.

The Syrians have S200 only and the Israelis have familiarity with S300/S400 which the Russians will never deploy against the Israelis because that would be the end of the S400s reputation.

The only other action against Syria before the Syrian Civil War, was actually when Syria was about to invade Israel in 1967 and actually got done and lost the Golan Heights. There is nothing wrong with defence.
