This is interesting to read .......

How Aleppo Residents Are Reacting to Their City’s Liberation (PHOTO, VIDEO)

At this time, government forces have reclaimed 98 percent of the city; the few militants that remain are now making their last stand in a few isolated areas.

Meanwhile, city residents have taken to the streets to celebrate the impending liberation of Aleppo and the rapidly approaching end of a battle for control of Syria’s largest city, which has raged for over 4 years.

http://sptnkne.ws/cXCC

......... And then the story from the MSM ..... none of it supported .... and all MSM sources say that these stories cannot be confirmed. In other words it is just propaganda from the SOHR and the White Helmets. Why one earth does the UN get itself fooled by these stories time-and-time again ..... they all come from the same sources and eventually turn out to be staged or just lies?

Let’s wait until the civilians get out and let’s listen to them ..... you won’t read about it in the MSM or see it on BBC/CNN etc ...... try RT, their news coverage is very good and NOT the propaganda the US/UK would like you to believe.
Watch it and make up your own mind!

Reuters: Aleppo could fall 'at any moment', U.N. reports civilian slaughter

The United Nations said on Tuesday it had reports that Syrian soldiers and allied Iraqi fighters had summarily shot dead 82 children, women and men in recaptured east Aleppo and a military source said the last rebel pocket could fall "at any moment".

The Syrian army has denied carrying out killings or torture among those captured, and its main ally Russia said on Tuesday rebels had "kept over 100,000 people as human shields".

Apparently in the last 30 mins ...... Aleppo is now fully liberated. The last rebels are on their way to paradise! :D

Now all they have to do is find these 175,000 civilians trapped in just one square kilometre! (UN said there were 275,000 trapped in Eastern Aleppo a couple of weeks ago, the Syrians/Russians have helped the 100,000 civilians that have escaped so there must be 175,000 still there?) Now we shall see?

" Aleppo battle ends as Syria rebel deal reached
Military action has ended in eastern Aleppo, Russia's ambassador to the UN, Vitaly Churkin, has said.

He said Syrian government troops had re-established control over the last areas of the city held by rebels.

He said an arrangement had been made for rebel fighters to leave. The rebels confirmed the deal, but said civilians would also be allowed to leave."

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-38308883

The coalition encouraged the rebels, demanded the removal of Assad, armed the so called " Moderates" then abandoned them. What a bloody mess,

What has our Paphitis to say about this and HIS coalition . This latest development does not indicate that the war in Syria is over but the road towards peace may have just started.

Milti:

Syria is not and never has been a civil war! It is an insurgency against an elected Government and its elected President supported, that is funded and armed by a foreign power(s). That is a war crime!

I hope you are right that is the beginning of the end but ..... already the US is ramping up the ante! The Syrian forces have now confirmed their VHF communications were jammed by airborne electronic systems, to allow Daesh forces to move on Palmyra from Idlib and Raqqa. Also the US coalition suspended its bombing operations against Raqqa at the same time. So until the US coalition leaves the area, then it will be an uphill struggle ...... causing even more death and destruction. :x

Saving face for the US coalition is FAR more important than doing anything for the Syrian people.

Not MY words Robin. As you know right from the start I posted in October 2012 :
" Russia, in my opinion as well as China are absolutely right in not supporting the revolutionaries infested with Islamic extremists and Jihadis. The West is making a dreadful error in contributing financially to the revolutionaries aided and abated by extremist Islamists who come to Syria from all corners of the world.Stay out of Syria is the best option and the only option that the West should consider."

Im not an Assad supporter any more than Im a rebel supporter, I just believe that Assad the Dictator is the only Syrian leader who could bring peace to Syria. Many times I asked our friend Paphitis who would replace Assad. The rebels are not democrats or moderates they are islamist jihadis whose aim is to establish sharia law over Syria, in line with Isis wishes.

I have also mentioned countless times that these parts of the world will never subscribe to western democracy as I believe only a dictatorship can keep these nations in order. Gaddafi did and so did Sadam of Iraq . My only true support is with the Syrian people, countless of children have perished, it is time now for the West to send a strong signal to the remaining rebels elsewhere in Syria that they do not have the support that they once had.

Let this disgusting war come to an end for the sake of young children.

not that it will make a difference to you as you are the most pig headed xerodjehalo i have ever come accros in my 55 years of existance.

Mohammad Mosaddegh was an Iranian politician. He was the democratically elected Prime Minister of Iran from 1951 until 1953, when his government was overthrown in a coup d'état aided by the American Central Intelligence Agency and the British Secret Intelligence Service.

An author, administrator, lawyer, and prominent parliamentarian, his administration introduced a range of progressive social and political reforms such as social security and land reforms, including taxation of the rent on land. His government's most notable policy, however, was the nationalization of the Iranian oil industry, which had been under British control since 1913 through the Anglo-Persian Oil Company (APOC/AIOC) (later British Petroleum and BP).

Many Iranians regard Mosaddegh as the leading champion of secular democracy and resistance to foreign domination in Iran's modern history. Mosaddegh was removed from power in a coup on 19 August 1953, organised and carried out by the CIA at the request of MI6, which chose Iranian General Fazlollah Zahedi to succeed Mosaddegh.

While the coup is commonly referred to in the West as Operation Ajax[12] after its CIA cryptonym, in Iran it is referred to as the 28 Mordad 1332 coup, after its date on the Iranian calendar. Mosaddegh was imprisoned for three years, then put under house arrest until his death and was buried in his own home so as to prevent a political furor.

notice he was democratically elected prime minister with social reforms in other words left leaning.

now will you furquine get lost

Apologise Milti ........... he is right! It was a democratic and secular society under Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh until 1953 when Operation Ajax changed all that and gave the people 28 years of terror and suppression under the Shah. This is what the Syrian people can expect if they get rid of Assad and get an American selected dictator instead.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohammad_Mosaddegh

One error ...... Iranians are NOT Arabs, they are Persians and are a completely different race of people. The Arabs in Iran are the Marsh Arabs that originated in Iraq and are found in the SW. ( I know, because I lived there for over four years.) But ..... once again the US/UK decided on regime change because Mosaddegh would not play ball and the CIA and MI6 instituted a coup ..... which they denied of course until quite recently.... and this gave them the Shah.
