This is all a part of the Pootin Progaganda narrative.

Also, I concur with you that the status of DAESH remain unlear or blurred. They could be in cohorts with Pootin/Assad.

Other reports suggest that DAESH have made solid gains against the regime. Who knows what the truth is now.

Ever since Pootin came to Stria, everything just got more complicated.

There is no ISIS in Aleppo. ISIS is on the outskirts along with Assad's forces.

There is speculation as to who's side they are on. Pootin has not been attacking ISIS, only the SDF within Aleppo. Why is that?

Yes we will be sending the people and the rebels plenty of supplies and plenty of weapons!

Once you've gone to a ceasefire, the game is up I'm afraid. The extermination of the opposition is now a pipe dream. Which means, the rebels are stakeholders!

You do talk a load of crap dont you General !!

No I don't jump to conclusions like you do. You counted your chickens and ended up with egg on your face.

If the rebels maintain their position, and it looks like they will, then they are a party to the negotiations and once they are there, they have literally won the war because they will either agree on transition or there will be partition.

If not, then the alternative is war and there is going to be immense pressure to not allow this to happen from both the coalition and Pootin.

They survived bozo. Now it's time they inherit their dues! And that my friend is a tenacious victory after 5 years of fighting the regime in a war the regime started. Mark my words. This is their victory. You think I am not being serious, but the fact is, if they are on the ground still standing, then it's a victory.

Christians are fighting in Aleppo too as part of the Rebel SDF - Armenians, Kurds, Greeks, Assyrian and Sunni.

Yes they have won!

Objectives have been achieved.

You seriously don't believe Assad has won do you? He is the biggest loser here. He is politically dead!

The rebels are holding Aleppo = massive victory!

What you think the world is just gonna sit back and watch Assad exterminate an entire rebellion. It's not gonna happen!

Two months back :

ANALYSIS
US-backed Syrian rebel group on verge of collapse

"IRBID, Jordan — The main Western-backed Arab rebel group in Syria appears on the verge of collapse because of low morale, desertions, and distrust of its leaders by the rank and file, threatening U.S. efforts to put together a ground force capable of defeating the Islamic State and negotiating an end to the Syrian civil war."

You are ....celebrating ...Victory!!! Your army General is capout! Capitchi

"“The lack of battlefield success has mitigated against them,” Ed Blanche, a Beirut-based member of London’s International Institute for Strategic Studies and an expert on Middle Eastern wars, said of the FSA. “They haven’t been getting significant (outside) support because they haven’t been showing results.”

Among other problems, Salabeh and others say, FSA fighters are losing faith in their own leaders.

“They regularly steal our salaries,” said Salabeh, who came to this city in northern Jordan after being wounded in battle and now intends to stay here. “We’re supposed to get $400 a month, but we only actually receive $100.”

""After six months of intensive and concentrated Russian air strikes on pro-US rebels, the scales have tipped dramatically in favour of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad"

Why Syrians Support President Bashar al Assad

Syria is the only secular country in the Middle East. This was established many decades ago, and when Pres. Assad came to office in summer of 2000 he maintained this form of government. The Syrian people have become very used to the secular nature of Syrian government, and social life. There are 18 different religious sects in Syria. The government and institutions are all secular and protect the rights of all Syrians. In Syria there is no ruling sect, all sects are represented throughout the government, Parliament and military.

Given the fact that Pres. Assad is the most highly educated President in the world, with a prestigious Medical degree from UK, they are collectively proud of his intelligence. They have also noted his balanced personality. They feel he is neither too soft, nor too hard. They see him as fair and balanced. He has shown them a great deal of patience and perseverance during almost 5 years of international attacks on Syria.

You are joking, I hope. The last piece is one of the most shameless bits of unsubstantiated propaganda I have read...ignoring that Syria is under the control of a minority alawite sect and the trouble started when Syrian troops began violent oppression with attacks on peaceful demonstrators opposed to Assad.

The American Herald Tribune may not be the newspaper you think it is, but a recent upstart that "borrowed" the name of the Herald Tribune, when that paper was renamed the International New York Times.,

Now you are contradicting yourself, Paphitis.

Why does the "opposition" needed a ceasefire to be supplied with food and plenty of weapons if Aleppo was not under siege? If the supply route to Aleppo was always open, then there should be plenty of food and weapons already there, no? :? :? :?
