Are they sure it was minus 5 last night?

“Cold spell grips Cyprus, minus 5 last night inland”

http://famagusta-gazette.com/cold-spell ... 534-69.htm

I’ve got an external temperature sensor feeding data into a PC so the next day I was able to observe what went on during the night and I assure you the temperature ranged between +5° and +6°C!!! Even if my equipment were +/- 5% wrong, it still doesn’t work out anywhere near their claims! :?

Also, had the temperature fallen to 0 or 1 it would’ve snowed (instead of rain) but it didn’t which proves beyond any reasonable doubt that the temperature never fell to that level!

So why does the Cyprus meteorology bureau lie through its teeth? :?

What are they trying to prove??? :?

Erm, its just a hunch, but when they say -5, they probably mean up in the Troodhos and not metropolis Nicosia at sea level!

 This guy reminds me of GR and Paphitis (Maxxx). He is coming to some irrelevant thread about the weather trying to find something bad to say about Cypriots... like they do about Greeks! ... Back to the topic ;) Some weeks ago it was much colder than it is these days. Maybe it is because now is mostly sunny.

Please, don't talk about education because I happen to be Cypriot and probably have more education and more going on upstairs than you and your family put together!

Here we go again! Claims of 1°C for Saturday night this time, when my equipment registered 7°C and it didn't feel cold at all!
