How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I haven't heard any more about it, the issue was not given more publicity and remained just a one liner in some past news

That was me and you will be hearing more of this approach once the current talks officially come to a close.

I already told you the one and only way to achieve it. Other than that, we have 2 ears for your mediators, in they go from one out they go from the other

Any comments on my question on whether your side AND Turkey really want agreed partition on exchange of land as per your own thinking?

Definately the future Pyro, once the current talks stop Turkey will move to return land, opening of her ports for recognition.

Do you think the GCs would accept? have the understood that we will never find a solution?

...sadly, this easy approach has teeth because it is tempting. once again, it will push those for Universal Principals out of the way, ignored because they are defended by a State which has the obligation of defending Greeks as "Greeks". this deceit on the part of those who profit from it, will not take long to become the Proxy War that Cyprus, and Cypriots, suffer, again. Turkey will have the whole island, you see.

...there is one challenge to come, vp (and all those who think that dividing the island in two is a good idea), and that is for the Cypriot Flag, let it this summer be planted everywhere people stop to have their picnics, let's see convoys of cars who circle the island, a day in their cars together. acts, not words.

...a real reflection of the Cyprus Dispute, look no further than Ledras along the Buffer Zone.

repulse the borders have been open for years and these sorts of inter communal events have produced nothing and this will do the same.

Concrete steps are necessary which neither side is willing to take as its seen as defeatist, thats why it time for people to understand that we will never agree a solution so why not agree to separate and go our own way?

And why would Turkey do that given there's no incentive for her? Turkey's not stupid... they know EU membership is a pipe dream with or without a Cyprus problem.

With the Cyprus problem solved Turkey would go into over drive and start pushing for full EU membership. The GC south could no longer be placed by other nations in Turkeys path so it would be easier to progress.

Its not an option right now you can tell from the lack of drive or desire to progress but with Cyprus done and dusted a new momentum may be desired.
