Have you really just cited your 'reliable source' as the personal website of another pro GC forum member? ... Highlighting not actual info from the Annan Plan but the section in which he offers his personal comments under 'comments and analysis'?

I understand the website has the same name as Mr Argyros Argyrou, member of the Hellenic Electronic Center and Lobby for Cyprus, and his website is registered under fsnet.com, a domain which anyone can buy a website from.

This is the man who sent a letter to the press complaints commission regarding The Telegraph featuring North Cyprus holidays, AKA supporttheunderdog.

These figures are, I believe from a 1974 or thereabouts census. They do to offer a real representation for all the reasons I have cited in the thread EOKA terrorists and the TMT 50's and 60's.

In short, the 1960 census paints a very different picture and this is down to the loss of TC lives and villages in the 1963 and 64 conflicts.

I have done so, I am just trying to keep the title of the threads relevant, as per the rules of the forum.

I will repeat my post again below, just for you.

Data cited are all Land registry, no matter who discussed them.

Please explain what you mean by a 1960 census painting a different picture for the loss of life in 1963/64? Did people lose land to the other 'side' when they 'died'?

All in all - pleased to see you have backtracked on your ridiculous "33%". :D

Yes I made a mistake on the 33%. It is in fact 28%. As I have already explained, my original post was just me recalling some of the past couple of weeks' reading. it was approximately a third in any event.

I have now found and cited reliable sources. However we still have conflicting views. 28% is quite some way from the figure you gave, I think it was 12% or thereabouts?

I have given you the Cyprus govt census as my source. And this is the intelligent response you give.

GIG all I can do is ignore your posts hereon. I thought you might have had something to contribute but no.
