Founder of the Modern Olympian Games Honoured

Very exciting news reported by the BBC.

The late Dr William Penny Brookes who founded the Much Wenlock Olympian Games, the successor of which will be held here in London this Summer, is to be remembered with a commemorative plaque in the Holy Trinity Church, Much Wenlock, Shropshire, England. The memorial will be dedicated this coming April.

Regretfully, this great occasion may be marred by a certain flaming flame, lit by some thieving, plagiarist Ottoman Remnants or others, which will pass through Much Wenlock on the 30th May.
