Protests are planned outside the EAC main offices throughout CY.

Wednesday, February 29, 2012
12:30pm until 3:30pm
EAC Main Office - Nicosia / Limassol / Paphos / Larnaca
Live and peaceful protest outside the EAC's main offices to exercise our democratic right to demand change for the better and end the abusively expensive and monopolistic practices of the EAC. Bring banners and gather outside the EAC's main office in your city between 12.30 and 2pm.

To all the communities in Cyprus. If you have had enough of being taken advantage of, of being charged high prices, of being given rude and neglectful service, and of being treated badly by the staff, management and board of directors of the EAC, then STAND UP FOR CHANGE.

The addresses are below;

NICOSIA: 11, Amfipoleos Str.
2025 Strovolos
P.O.Box 24506
1399 Lefkosia Cyprus

LIMASSOL: 55 Agiou Andreou Str
P.O.Box 50121, 3601
3036, Lemesos

LARNACA: 57 Konstantinou Palaiologou Ave
P.O.Box 40186, 6301
6036, Larnaka

PAPHOS: 13 Tepeleniou Street, 8010, Paphos, tel: 26-841100

The problem with this is that unless you work for the government (i.e. EAC) you'll be working during those times! The real protest should be in front of the presidential palace to insist that the donkey who is responsible for blowing up the power station be pulled from power and held accountable for his actions. The other protest should be at the court when the poor soul who rightly so called him a "vlakas" will be tried. Everyone should show up holding banners calling for the vlakas resignation! Will he have the entire population arrested?

The Attorney General dropped the charges against that bloke and some other people who faced similar charges. They were worried that they would lose the cases when the alleged vlaka had to go to court to prove he wasn't!

I stand corrected. I knew they dropped some of the cases, but now I see they finally wised up. In fact perhaps all the vlakas should file a class action lawsuit against this guy for insulting them with such a reference to our great leader!
