Product suggestions for a KIOSK/PERIPTERO

Postby PseudoAnonymous » Thu Feb 09, 2012 11:28 am

Hello,

Out of mere curiosity, I cordially ask you to state what you would be glad to see sold in your local kiosk/periptero (which is not sold already in others, if you please) and would be willing to buy. Any feedback would be appreciated.

The two products most people buy on a daily basis are milk and bread and although milk is sold in all kiosks these days, bread eludes them! So I’d say have a stand with fresh mini-sized loafs of sliced bread to compliment the milk.

Good luck with everything.

And btw, it should be “Beriptero” not “P”!

Not wonder Brits can’t pronounce anything right in this country the way we mislead them!

Why do we do that? I can’t understand why we’re like that... :?

If I need bread and milk i'd rather go to a bakery ... they are almost as numerous as Kiosks these days!

The "correct Greeklish" is Periptero ;) On the keyboard "Π" is the same key as "P". And I don't think spelling it with B would help foreigners pronounce it better.

But for us smokers it would be great to just make ONE trip to get all three!

It’s obvious that common sense is not a Cypriot strong point...

Yes, it's very important for our 'masters' to pronounce the words correctly.
If you want to live in this country you have to learn proper Greek, like the natives.
Now, p*ss off!

Don't worry, because if you are a smoker, you are already in a shortcut.
