Hands up those of you who wouldn’t accept a well paid position/job if your strategically positioned father or brother could arrange it…

Now take that very natural human behavior of looking after one’s own and place it in a very small place like Cyprus and the result is many people knowing many other people in influential positions!

Elementary...

You observed the trend and you explained it GR. You stopped here, so I presume you think it is a good thing to keep happening.

It certainly isn't in the public interest on more than one count.

It's easy to say it's unacceptable and then vote for the political parties that are traditionally doing it.

It’s unavoidable due to human nature and happens all over the world.

It’s just less obvious in larger countries where violations easily hide in big numbers.

So you wouldn’t accept a well paid position given the chance?

...if Cyprus is as corrupt as is said, how did this issue get into the paper?

in real terms the political and economic system of Cyprus is very respected when comparing it to other States. however there should be no denying that rusfetti (did i spell that right) is harmful.
