We would all be grateful to you if you would provide us the "impartial" sources of your highly intelligent postings.

You want me to provide a credible source for something that didn’t happen? :?

I can only disappoint you…

Putin is by ,amy accounts one of the Richest men in Russia, if not in Europe, with an estimated EU40 billion Euro fortune stashed away, all on a modest government salary of perahs 150K a year or so. It is however a bit rich of him (and he is supposedly f*cking rich)to lecture the west.

Perhaps with some of the wealth he is aellged to have, possibly Putin could personnaly help bail out Greece.

Now Russia has excellent scientists, enginerers, etc, but Investment in R & D is minimal and the best brains leave as they can do better elsewhere. My nephew for example is now doing advanced research at a Uni in the USA while his wife is a professor there. My son's academic establishement in the USSR, the Academy of Science is struggling to pay the electric bill.

If some of that 40 billion had been properly invested in Rusian Industry quite possibly Russia would have ben able to take adavantage the technology, but with the level of corrruption there few want to invest in Russia itself, or it will be stolen from them, by the lIkes Putin. and his pet bear.
