Viewpoint is not a Cypriot but s/he is right in the sense that the RoC must, as a matter of its legitimacy provide the Turkish Cypriots with the same social economic benefits as other Cypriot citizens, even if it means that the majority legitimate citizens of the RoC remain subjugated because of them.

on the flip side of this they remain with the dark side, become pariahs and through their leaderships proxy, some ugly human beings who will never be recognised as a seperate state unless the RoC says so.

Firstly as a Turk you have no rights to speak of the rights of TC's.

Secondly as someone else pointed out the RoC represents the right s of all its citizens equally. If you choose to shut yourselves away and not participate, thats is your problem. Not the RoC's issue. The fact remains that there are over 2,000 TC's living in the RoC today and enjoy equal rights as everyone else, counteracts your argument.

In my opinion the RoC needs to close its side of the check points for a period of 6 months to stop its citizens from coming over and spending their money at the Casino's

I know from my own relatives' experiences how much they had to give you TCs, charitably, in the 60s because you were lazy and hopeless. The few TCs who have returned to the RoC still need much more support than Sri-Lankans or Eastern Europeans because your work ethic is non-existant.

But we are not the ones who claim to represent all Cypriots and reap the benefits, go ahead and stop these services, then how will you claim to represent TCs as equals citizens??? GCs do not do anything voluntarily, you probably know they saying of beware of Greeks bearing gifts

You can call me a Turk all you wish because to me thats a compliment, so thank you but my heritage goes back many many years on this island.

Go ahead and close the borders I agree with you, we spend more in the south than you do in the north.

We do not want you to claim you represent all Cypriots so feel to cut off any services that would reconfirm you do not, allowing us one step closer to recognition.
