Were they "far better" two years ago?

Puzzling... two years ago you were a Greek, how come you had Aussie friends if they didn't want anything to do with you lot? Perhaps you did not have any and decided to denounce your nationality for a couple... Pathetic!

Actually no, they were not far better 2 years ago. They were still the same shit and I had little or nothing to do with them then and nothing now. All my friends are mostly Aussies or a mixture of Aussies of German, or Italian descent. No Greeks. I refuse to expose my family to them because they are dangerous hillbillies!

My nationality is Cypriot and that's all that matters to me.

No he is not! The negotiations do not bring the two parties down to an equal state! Never, ever, has the UN referred to the RoC as the "Greek Cypriot Administration". Downer has.

It is the 2 communities that are negotiating not the RoC with the TC Leader.

In the negotiations they refer to the 2 leaders of the 2 communities and whilst I don't like this either, that is what has been happening since 1963.

OK here it is, Downer referred to the RoC's term in the EU presidency as the "Greek Cypriot EU presidency".
Read about it here (mind you, it's in Greek)

So what?

What are you insinuating?

he has been referring to Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot leaders for a long time now. It would probably be a mistake, due to his status as UN Envoy to Cyprus.

When he was FA Minister of Australia he always referred to the RoC and also reaffirmed Australia's support to the RoC a number of times and even met Cypriot Presidents, Ministers, and MPs in Australia and in Cyprus.

We are witnessing the soft assimilation of Cypriots in Australia... Boomy was already assimilated but the transformation and assimilation of Paphitis happened before our eyes!

I just woke up and realized that the biggest wankers and most idiotic and corrupt people in all of Australia happen to be Greeks. They are an embarrassment to Australia!

They just don't fit in, and they cause Cypriots much heart ache, all politically motivated of course. There are many Greeks here that refuse to have anything to do with other Greeks and for good reason. We call them "the sick people of Australia"! Dead wood that should ideally be deported!

With friends like them who needs enemies.

Keep the good work up Paphitis. The more you talk the more obvious it becomes that your experience in Australia has been very traumatic.
Take my advise. Try to find the cure in the pride which your Greek heritage can offer you. You will be surprised of the miracles it does.

You can shove your "Hellenic Pride" up your arse Kimon!

I am a Cypriot and proud to be Cypriot. Greece is just a foreign country to me, and they are third world, out of place in Europe and more at home in Africa!
