Applying Kimon's non-phonetic transcript of Greek into English, then vremenon must be transcripted as bremenon, but I think even he knows that it as ridiculous sounding as poulin.

What makes you think I apply the "non phonetic transcript of Greek into English"? What I am doing is correcting the wrong phonetic spelling of words by GR. Who ever heard of a "boulli"?
Example: η poulla mou. When you say tin poulla mou, then, yes, you should use the B because the "n" changes to "m" "charin euphonias" and sounds as "tim-poulla" (m+p makes the b sound).

In another example, under some other thread, I asked GR a very simple question. How did his friends used to call him? Re pelle, or re belle?
Vromopelle or vromobelle? Well, mine called me "vromoPello". And I don't blame them. Otherwise, I wouldn't be here trying to teach GR Cyrpiot would I?

No Greek (or wannabe like you) or Cypriot pronounces bird as poulin, but as GR quite correctly stated boulin.

But you omitted to apply the same logic to vromon (stink), where by your rules should be bromon.

E.g blasphemy, biblio (suffix), base, basil etc.

If I wanted to write put above words with "greeklish" I would write them as "vlasfhemia, vivlio, vazo or vasi, vassilikos, Pambos (in Cypriot) and Babis (in mainland greek).

Greeks of the mainland pronounce "to pouli" (one l). We, Cypriots, say "to poullin" ta poulia ta poullouthkia. Heard any Cypriot say "ta boullouthkia"?

Personally, whenever asked about my nationality I am not ashamed to answer Greek Cypriot. As I am sure the Armenian Cypriots proudly define their ethnicity and so do the Turkish Cypriots and the Maronite Cypriots.

The only human species which I know of to deny or try to hide their ethnicity and try to invent some other ethnic identity for themselves are the "Neocypriot" wannabes.

Ethnicity is man-made Kimon, so just because junta-driven teachers at school told you that you were part of a "bigger" group from afar doesn't mean that it is true!

If you were born/bred in Cyprus you are Cypriot full stop and those born/bred in Greece are Greeks full stop! Nothing could be simpler and it is the exact same rule applied worldwide.

They screwed with your mind by getting hold of you at a very young age when the mind is like a sponge.

"to Poullin" for bird and "to ppoulli" for stamp.

Now, you tell me how you would write in latin characters the cypriot verb "πουμπουρίζει"? I would write "poumbourizi" and "poumbourka". Epoumbourisa sou tora (τωρά) mian poumbourkan mialin nomizo.

BTW, you should

1) examine your DNA more closely.
2) Research the position of the Church of Cyprus in the Orthodox Church.
3) present yourself as from Cyprus when in Greece.

You will realise some truths that will be uncomfortable to you Greek-wannabes.
