ARMENIAN CYPRIOT wrote:Remember there were many ambassadors that wrote about the Genocide plus there are tons of photos. Oh thats right they are banned from being shown in Turkey thats why you wouldnt know a thing about that.

Armenian Cypriot,
while you constantly emphasize the lack of freedom of discussion on the issue in Turkey, you conveniently ignore the same in Armenia. If I were to organize a conference claiming that the events of the beginning of the century did not constitute a genocide, would this conference be allowed? I do not dispute the evidence that you present, many many innocent armenians were killed for no reason other than being armenian. But how many turks died? Do you know of the witness accounts of the massacres armenian "freedom fighters" committed on turkish women and elderly when turkish men were on the front fighting to defend their homeland against the invading russian army? These are witness accounts passed from generations that will probably be never present in your history textbooks.

Besides this info look into the Dr Horton memiors, I am sure you will find out how kind your Turkish Brothers were. Lets see, I am sure since the genocide happened in Anatolia which is now part of Turkey, your government can tell you where they are hidden. Relocation?? Where into a dessert without shelter or food???? Please.

Yes, the intention of the ottoman government was relocation, not the destruction of the whole armenian race. That is why this event cannot have the name genocide.

PS You just told me Turks dont moan, yet you are telling me Turks are sensative about what happened on Cyprus. So is it only when something affects Turks that it count?? Funny, you have no idea what happened to the Armenian and Greek communuties in Istanbul during 1957, yet you do know about the suffering of your people. You should really look into the riots and get back to me.

And you have no idea what happenedto the Tukrish Communities in the Balkans and Armenia after their "liberations". There was a significant turkish community in Yerevan, why is Armenia so ethnically pure now? While there still is a tiny armenian minority in Turkey, there is no turkish minority in Armenia. All muslims have been ethnically cleansed. While you accuse turks for being concerned only for their own, you also commit the same mistake by failing to acknowledge the turkish victims of the armenian aggression in Anatolia.

Yes, Turkey should apologize to the victims for the crimes committed against armenians, those guilty should be persecuted (if they are still alive) but Turkey will never ever accept the term genocide to be used. This would be a betrayal to all the turkish victims of the Armenian Dashnak liberation movement and this would mean all turkish citizens are guilty of a crime they never perpetrated.

Main_Source,
Nearly 60 different ethnic communities are living in Turkey(some of them Turkified some not) but they are all wrong and Arabs,Kurds,Armenians and Greeks right huh?

ARMENIAN CYPRIOT,
Sure i love to watch it, if you can guarantee that it would be possible for me to find where massgraves or camps set up otherwise dont make me waste my time...

Birkibrisli,
Thanx for defining my phobiatic condition with a kindly manner, so it is a lie for u that Armenian constitution has caption demanding land from Turkey, and descripsion of Arrat Monument in Erivan has never happend

Just days ago a kurdish origined map flied around in forum...

In contrary you are saying i am living with a dream so sun must shine for someone like u from miles and miles away

Ps: As u can see all these demands related where my country is, now take the otherhand the maximized demands from ultra-mega turkic natioanlists, it is just an union between turkics and that doesn't include non-turkic lands... In that respect are they turkics or others who put into practice an expansionist politics

Well I know that the Greek church in Turkey has its hands tied in many aspects because of the goverments policies.

besides, do you think any of the ethnic minorities in Turkey would dare speak up against the Turkish government, in such a nationalistic driven country? Even Turks who speak up against the Turkish government get arrested or persecuted...I wonder what would happen if a Greek or Armenian did so.

Could you please give me the name of the mosque in Athens? I saw a documentary on EU perspective on the Greek Churches influence on politics in Greece and the lack of religious freedoms especially for muslims and they stated that Athens has to change according to EU noems and allow the building of a mosque.
