fact grown.126 The population of Turkish Cypriots in 1974 was almost 118,000; the census results show that out of the 178,031 TRNC citizens, the current native Turkish Cypriot population (one or both parents born in Cyprus) now numbers 132,635.127

What a strange post. A TC posts a great big quote to try to undermine two senior TC figures (a former 'Prime Minister' and the current leader of a TC union movement) who express their real anxieties at the fate of the TCs under current Turkish intransigence. As if it is GCs who are complaining that the TCs are under threat of assimilation and irrelevance.

Do TCs have a death wish or something?

All this beating the TCs over the head will get us no where. Even if you wipe the floor with them, your victory is pointless. You only serve to perpetuate the RoC's woes.

Unless you are willing to embrace Cypriotness, then you are unable to achieve any good for the RoC.

The world already knows where the injustice lies. The world recognises invasion, ethnic cleansing and the illegal change in demographics which is why the "trnc" is doomed. But how do we end the occupation? Well, we need to reach out to TCs, drink beers with them, offer them our friendship. That is the critical first step. You have to convince them that they are equal RoC citizens and that their country begins at Apostolos Andreas and ends in Paphos. We need to convince them that it is in their best interests for a united Cyprus with peace and security and the guaranteed rule of EU and RoC Law.

And finally, those of you who claimed Greek Colonization and assimilation just a couple of days ago have no right to talk or to lecture any turk on this matter! You not only compromise yourselves, but your arguments compromise the RoC itself.

And the reason really is quite simple. You can not be having a Greek/Turkish tit for tat. Only a Cypriot/Turkish tit for tat will not compromise our integrity or the RoC! :)

NO, as I stated before we both go our own way and pursue our own agendas.
No Way ...... We want what belongs to us and we're gonna get it.

However, it is great to see TC's thinking the reunification is the only way forward. The problem for the RoC is what do we do with the racists among us.

Good to see the intelligence that lives in the occupied regime.

At last someone who understands what has to be done, I have been saying this for years but unfortunately GCs are not clever enough to understand this basic solution.
